Innovative Range Of Acrylic Photo Frames Launched

Luminati, the specialist manufacturer of acrylic display units and acrylic frames have once again captured image makers imaginations, delivering an innovative new acrylic picture frames range packed with unique features.

Luminati originally unveiled the Clear2C brand of acrylic picture frames at the recent Focus On Imaging event at the NEC, Birmingham, UK, one of the biggest annual imaging shows in the world.

The stylish range of contemporary acrylic frames offers styles to suit most tastes including clear acrylic picture frames, magnetic photo frames, wall photo frames, multi photo frames and black photo frames.

Luminati gained some positive feedback at the NEC show from professional photographers, designers and other image makers. The range of frames is firmly aimed at professional image makers who can tap into Luminati’s skill at presenting pictures in a modern and stylish way through the manufacture of acrylic frames and display units.

Luminati’s in-house designers have recently extended the range of acrylic picture frames to suit a wide range of budgets, enabling photographers the ability to match photo frames with clients exact requirements.

The company’s Clear2C Professional photo frames with diamond polished flush fronted finish and unique magnetic back panel, has done fantastically well since its launce at the Focus On Imaging event earlier this year Launched as a 15mm thick frame, the range was extended to include the sleeker 9mm thick Impression range. Following customer feedback Luminati also introduced a range of panoramic photo frame formats.

The forthcoming weeks will see the Clear2C rage expanded with new Capture & Snap photo frames. A unique picture holder allows photos to be framed and changed with ease whilst not even taking the frame off the wall.

The Clear2C Professional, Impression, Capture, and Snap acrylic photo frames are available in a range of colours, and in single aperture, multiple aperture and panoramic photo frame formats. The multi photo frames are proving especially popular with domestic buyers whilst the Professional range of large photo frames is particularly favoured by corporate offices and hotels.

One of the truly unique aspects of Luminati’s acrylic photo frames is that they are 97% recyclable. The Devon based firm is extremely keen to manage its manufacturing process in a sustainable way. Acrylic and other plastics are typically thought to be very un-recyclable materials but this needn’t be the case.

Luminati are keen to emphasise that customer needs come first, saying they enjoy feedback regarding bespoke designs and tailored frame design which they are happy to do.

Luminati has announced their intention to once again support the Focus on Imaging show in 2010 and that their team of designers will be on hand to demonstrate the growing frames range, and discuss client requirements.

Be Hip Buy Modern Art On Canvas

We’re constantly shopping for canvas modern art for our galleries and every once in a while, I find something to get really excited about. I found Stefano Ferreri’s wine art in the fall of 2008 while creating a wine-themed window display when we opened the new Framed Art Superstore in North Conway Village. After eight years in the Willow Place Mall route 16 North Conway, NH we decide to move uptown to North Conway Village next to the movie theater. In North Conway Village we have lots of foot traffic there and needed some interesting art for the window display.

The only problem? After I get the art in and I get the window display perfect, someone buys the art right out of the window. Of course, I reorder four new canvas transfers of Stefano Ferreri’s paintings, and again, these darn customers keep wrecking my display by buying them! I love it when that happens! Of course, when you look at this art, you can see why, and when you consider we sell contemporary canvas art for less than it would cost to frame the poster version, you’ll want one or two of them yourself. Our online gallery offers them at a real deal and with free shipping!

If you are a wine or martini lover, you will love any of the canvas art by Stephano Ferreri. They are all available as canvas transfers, which are the best way to display any art, and come with a money back guarantee. These particular pieces by Stefano Ferreri are museum wrapped (sides are white) as opposed to gallery wrapped (image wraps around sides). The reason we chose museum wrap is we didn’t want to lose any of the important part of the piece on the sides. If the piece has unimportant things along the edges of an image then a gallery wrap would be appropriate. The best part there’re ready to hang, frameless.

this new look fits any elegant or contemporary surrounding – maybe a dining room or wine cellar and still they are modern enough, especially without a frame, to fit in any modern or contemporary decor. If you check us out at www.nakedwallartgallery.com you will find, or we will hope you find that our selection is better than most. We spent countless hours picking what we think is the best looking art out there. This was not easy. Once you’ve looked at a particular category, everything starts to look the same. If you’ve been through the other popular sites looking for images, then you know. You have to weed through literally thousands of images and most of them are frankly crap. So, we did the work for you. Check us out for modern art on canvas or for more info on modern canvas art

Disney Images as Giclee Canvas Prints

Disney is a well renowned company for producing some of the best cartoon characters. Everyone knows that they are the best when it comes to putting together kid’s movies, films, cartoons, and books. Now we are learning about a different side of Disney that I never realized they had. That is the painting side. Painters have created timeless classics including Mickey Mouse Band Leader Disney Fine Art Giclee by Artist Toby Bluth. Giclee paintings are showcased as fine art. “Giclee” in French translation means “spray of ink.” Now days we use Iris digital ink jet printers to create such fantastic portraits of art.

This article surprised me. It showed me a side of Disney I was oblivious to. I think many people are in the same boat. The art pieces shown throughout the article are amazing. They truly are fine art. I think it is amazing how people can create such beautiful pictures. Giclee canvas art and giclee print is a popular trend. Interesting to see how Artists took this form of painting, and used Disney to create such beautiful pieces. I will say that my favorite giclee print is the Mickey Mouse one mentioned above. It shows great detail and perfect colors. I can only imagine how they look in person.

Giclee Artwork is Astounding

Giclee Artwork is Astounding.

Since the 1990s, artists have been using ink jet printing. This art process is called giclee. It’s a French term meaning to “squirt, spray, or spurt”. Artists scan their pictures into the computer and apply them to their art. Some of the most beautifully haunting giclee work can be seen by artist Brian DeLevie from Denver, CO. He takes old family photos and applies them to his art. However, he uses the most disturbing events in some of his art work like Nazi rallies, bombings, or sad and worn faces to make an impact with the viewer. It’s hard to believe that these creations came from an ink jet printer. Brian has a website at http://www.briandelevie.com/ where you can view his artwork. The images will invoke powerful messages into your minds eye. With his giclee art, his themes vary from family, to memories, and history.

Most households these days have computer and printers. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a family project where you put random photos together and make a story out of it? It would be the next scrapbooking hobby. Giclee offers a world of excitement and creativity. You can do what Brian did and take old family photos and convert them into themes. You can also bring together magazine articles with your photos to create a collage. It is also another way to recycle old family photos of people you don’t remember anymore or pictures that are worn beyond digital repair. With giclee art, the possibilities are endless with what you can do with art.

Giclee Fine Art Photography Printing on Canvas

Giclee Fine Art Photography Printing on Canvas

Following in the footsteps of the Iris inkjet printer of the early 1990’s, the Giclee printing process was developed to bring high quality color photo printing to canvas media, achieving a highly desirable fine art effect. Prior to the development of the Giclee canvas printing process, silkscreening was the standard technique for printing photographic materials. Utilization of digital printing could only be achieved after certain limitations had been overcome, most notably color saturation and the life of the final product.

Ultimately the solution came through the development of archival quality solvent inks that allowed for more advanced color duplication and longevity. Thanks to the advancement of the quality of raw materials, including inks and canvases, Giclee canvas art became an ideal way to create replicas of older artwork and photographs for sale by art dealers and collectors.

Today, Giglee prints offer an affordable method for mass production of high quality art and photography on cotton canvas. Individual artists can produce runs of prints or even offer on demand printing of their work for sale. The photograph duplication industry turns to Giclee printing as the de facto method for placing photographic images on canvas. This is a great advancement from the old manual methods used prior to the digital age. Thanks to Giglee printing, high quality art can be enjoyed by a wider audience than ever before.

Computers and Art – Giclee Printing

Computers and Art

Computers have managed to cause major changes in just about every industry. The landscape in just about any line of work has been completely overhauled by the availability of computers to do repetitive tasks, quickly retrieve information, send messages globally, and perform tasks that are dangerous for humans. The changes can even be seen in areas that wouldn’t necessarily come to top of mind such as for police officers where the availability of computers right in there cars helps them research potentially criminal issues quickly and allows the quick dissemination of all points bulletins.

One are though where such change has been much more visible has been in the arts with advances such as computer generated sculptures and giclee printing pieces. With giclee printing the most popular fine art prints can be distributed in digital format and replicated in volume so as to be enjoyed in far more homes, business, and public place than was possible before. The newest trend in this development is the availability of fine art giclee printing a practice which is making works that once cost so much the average person couldn’t own such a piece affordable. This is great for the artist as the original will still fetch large money but it also allows them to get much further reach with their works.

Giclee Printing vs. Dye sublimation – High Quality and Affordable

Affordable high quality printing technology is finally under reach.

With the introduction of a combination of dye sublimation technique and computerized printers, the sign industry will have more than ever the tools needed to make cost effective, reliable prints, for a fraction of the cost it took years ago.
The sign industry devours tons of material and ink resources, trying to reproduce as high as possible the quality of images, which are later using for the creations of banners, flags, billboard and just any conceivable form of outdoor advertising.
The new Velotex Xpress system, developed by US Sublimation, a division of PrintVillage, Inc., literally cuts the middleman offering in one system the chores performed by large scale printers, such as two sided printing, wide format and more.
The new process guarantees extended lifespan on the final product; this is a key selling point for medium sized print houses, who seek to expand their portfolios with more printing options, while keeping the prices competitive.
Computer software and special designed hardware make the perfect mix for this new machine; the printing times are shorter, and so is the drying period, thanks to the solvent based solution used.
This new and exciting way to print is readily available on the US.
