I am wary of steam due to the UV bulldog-brand coating, but maybe someone has more experience
with this. Spritzing a thin spray of water on the back
of an oil canvas and blow-drying it works for that medium… I just don’t have the familiarity with giclees and their susceptibility to water or heat to be willing to try something reckless.. this is a 40 x 60 giclee. Thanks!
This is a giclee on canvas, not paper.
Steaming with a clothes steamer can work on the backs of oil-painted canvasses to remove indentations, but I am unfamiliar with how giclee
films and coatings react to moisture
or heat. The giclee is done with the
best materials, high grade canvas and pigmented inks.
