Art in a Family

Art in a Family

Art is an incredibly personal thing and an amazingly revealing glimpse into the soul. The artist will often have their works be painted based on events that are going on around them or experiences they are going through. As such if you look at the progression of art throughout an artist’s life and map this to a biography or a listing of local events you will most likely find a very close correlation. This is because art is often used as a form of therapy and a form of coping or even as a way to express the emotions. This provides very unique results when one artist is responsible for a work of art but when it is a family effort truly unique pieces can result. Group painting is very rare but given the very unique interaction of emotions and feelings between people the work that does result from such efforts can be truly amazing and unique. Styles often clash which may prevent coordination but such clashing can actually produce stunning art. Famous art from such efforts is often distributed in special giclee form as giclee printing is often the best way to get very wide distribution for such works. These works are remarkably rare and so reproduction is the only way a broad audience can enjoy them.

Stimulating the Visual Senses

Stimulating the Visual Senses

Humans are a very unique species in nature. Our self-awareness if unique and even though other creatures are believe to potentially have elements of this, no others have developed it to quite the extent we have. We manifest this self-awareness in many different ways but perhaps the strongest is in our love for art and in our ability to create art. As children most of us love art and create art pieces before we can even write or do other intellectual tasks. Most of us at some point decide to give up art either due to lack of ability or due to the attention that other tasks require of us. At any rate our attachment to art continues and so art sells very well and art shows and museums are incredibly well attended. We love to purchase art and we love to display it in our homes, as it is a great way to stimulate our visual senses. Until recently most art was expensive as the artist likely did it in a one off manner. Today with giclee art you have a new method of purchasing art whereby a high quality computer print of the artists work is made. Giclee prints allow an artist to realize scale in their works and they allow far more people to enjoy a given piece of art.

Lift Your Spirits With Art Prints On Canvas

More than just beauty, contemporary canvas art can serve as a function in our homes. The decisions and choices about the art we pick can make us feel more energetic, relaxed, more hopeful or ambitious. So, what type of art makes sense for these trying times? It’s such a personal decision as to what you like, but here are some hints as to why you might find certain pictures more appealing. If you want a room to be more relaxing, perhaps a piece with horizontal lines, maybe a landscape or an abstract, but the direction and flow of the picture should be reclining. If you feel trapped in your life, you might be drawn to images with distant horizons.

What do you feel like when you see the art in your home? Wouldn’t it be nice to smile every time you walk past your new golf art! In any case the sides are finished, no need for a frame and the expense of a frame. Our best selling art is unframed canvas art.

Prints under glass cause glare in today’s homes with open floor plans and lots of windows. Non-glare glass is expensive, so why not have art prints on canvas because it looks much better anyway! Almost every day a customer comes into our brick and mortar store in North Conway NH called the Framed Art Superstore and says they have huge walls and cathedral ceilings with multiple sliding glass doors and large windows. Of course they say that their prints under glass create glare because of all their glass in the house. The obvious solution is canvas. We haven’t found a better solution to the glare problem than canvas art. It just sucks up all the light and allows you to see the wonderful art.

Perhaps more important is that with stress levels what they are in our complicated over-stimulated lives, our decorating needs to be easy and un-fussy. Art without a frame is easier to buy, easier to match your decor, and easier to enjoy. The simplicity is pure genius. Just take away the frame, and enjoy the naked art, not the naked wall. We’ve been in this business for over 10 years now and I would not put anything other than canvas art in our home. Our new website features over 500 of today’s best artists, all ready to hang and they come with free shipping anywhere in the continental US. Everything we sell is guaranteed. So, check out our canvas abstract art or if you want answers to questions you might have visit FAQ’s about canvas transfer print and have fun shopping.

Be Hip Buy Modern Art On Canvas

We’re constantly shopping for canvas modern art for our galleries and every once in a while, I find something to get really excited about. I found Stefano Ferreri’s wine art in the fall of 2008 while creating a wine-themed window display when we opened the new Framed Art Superstore in North Conway Village. After eight years in the Willow Place Mall route 16 North Conway, NH we decide to move uptown to North Conway Village next to the movie theater. In North Conway Village we have lots of foot traffic there and needed some interesting art for the window display.

The only problem? After I get the art in and I get the window display perfect, someone buys the art right out of the window. Of course, I reorder four new canvas transfers of Stefano Ferreri’s paintings, and again, these darn customers keep wrecking my display by buying them! I love it when that happens! Of course, when you look at this art, you can see why, and when you consider we sell contemporary canvas art for less than it would cost to frame the poster version, you’ll want one or two of them yourself. Our online gallery offers them at a real deal and with free shipping!

If you are a wine or martini lover, you will love any of the canvas art by Stephano Ferreri. They are all available as canvas transfers, which are the best way to display any art, and come with a money back guarantee. These particular pieces by Stefano Ferreri are museum wrapped (sides are white) as opposed to gallery wrapped (image wraps around sides). The reason we chose museum wrap is we didn’t want to lose any of the important part of the piece on the sides. If the piece has unimportant things along the edges of an image then a gallery wrap would be appropriate. The best part there’re ready to hang, frameless.

this new look fits any elegant or contemporary surrounding – maybe a dining room or wine cellar and still they are modern enough, especially without a frame, to fit in any modern or contemporary decor. If you check us out at www.nakedwallartgallery.com you will find, or we will hope you find that our selection is better than most. We spent countless hours picking what we think is the best looking art out there. This was not easy. Once you’ve looked at a particular category, everything starts to look the same. If you’ve been through the other popular sites looking for images, then you know. You have to weed through literally thousands of images and most of them are frankly crap. So, we did the work for you. Check us out for modern art on canvas or for more info on modern canvas art

Useful Info Oncanvas Transfer Print

It can be very difficult to decipher all the information on the web regarding pricing any canvas art product. First, there are many names for canvas art products. There’s modern canvas art, Canvas posters, art on canvas, canvas transfers and a number of different combination. The point is, whatever it’s called, it’s the process of removing the paper off the back of the print and capturing just the image or ink and adhering to canvas. Regardless, if the print is a giclee, lithograph, serigraph, poster or any other word for which the ink was applied to the paper. It just doesn’t matter, they are all prints. Giclee is just a fancy French word for sprayed ink or ink jet. However, with technology these days Giclee prints are bar far the best quality print you can get, but very expensive. There’s no doubt that you can see a difference if you are comparing but if you find a print you love and it only comes as poster, etc. that’s ok unless it looks terrible. To that end, just buy the print image you like.

Getting back to the point of transferring a “print” to canvas. The process is fairly simple. A UV protected film is glued to the image then soaked in a solution which separates the paper from the ink, the image is then mounted to artist grade canvas which allows the canvas texture show through. This process has been around for over 30 years and is by far the closest you can get to what the original piece looked like.

Another process is printing directly onto canvas. This process is actually more expensive than transferring a print to canvas. The reason is that the canvas needs to be coated with Gesso, so when manufacturers buy the canvas they pay significantly more for the Gesso coated canvas than regular canvas. The most important thing is canvas transfer prints in my opinion, look much nicer.

The other problem with printing directly to canvas is that there’s copyright laws. The publishers of the artists have control over how a print is produced. You can just decide I want a lithograph print. It comes the way the publisher decided to produce it. That’s partly why the price of the print itself can vary from $10.00 – $75.00 for an open edition print. We won’t even go into Limited Edition prints in this article, that’s for another discussion. Anyway, depending on the artist, publisher, royalties and the means of which the publisher gets the ink on the paper determines the price of the print itself.

Ok, now to the meat of the matter. To determine the price of your canvas fine art piece will depend on the print price itself plus the company you use. Most companies charge by the United inch which is the height plus the width times x dollars. As for the printed canvas they price it by the square inch. What’s the final price? Well, it depends on the company of course. Also, it depends on whether it’s mass produce in China, made in the U.S. etc., etc.. So, know what you are buying and where it’s from. The Naked Wall Art Gallery sells canvas abstract art made in the USA and are the highest quality at a fair price with Free Shipping anywhere in the continental U.S.. Disney Images as Giclee Canvas Prints

Disney is a well renowned company for producing some of the best cartoon characters. Everyone knows that they are the best when it comes to putting together kid’s movies, films, cartoons, and books. Now we are learning about a different side of Disney that I never realized they had. That is the painting side. Painters have created timeless classics including Mickey Mouse Band Leader Disney Fine Art Giclee by Artist Toby Bluth. Giclee paintings are showcased as fine art. “Giclee” in French translation means “spray of ink.” Now days we use Iris digital ink jet printers to create such fantastic portraits of art.

This article surprised me. It showed me a side of Disney I was oblivious to. I think many people are in the same boat. The art pieces shown throughout the article are amazing. They truly are fine art. I think it is amazing how people can create such beautiful pictures. Giclee canvas art and giclee print is a popular trend. Interesting to see how Artists took this form of painting, and used Disney to create such beautiful pieces. I will say that my favorite giclee print is the Mickey Mouse one mentioned above. It shows great detail and perfect colors. I can only imagine how they look in person.

Giclee Artwork is Astounding

Giclee Artwork is Astounding.

Since the 1990s, artists have been using ink jet printing. This art process is called giclee. It’s a French term meaning to “squirt, spray, or spurt”. Artists scan their pictures into the computer and apply them to their art. Some of the most beautifully haunting giclee work can be seen by artist Brian DeLevie from Denver, CO. He takes old family photos and applies them to his art. However, he uses the most disturbing events in some of his art work like Nazi rallies, bombings, or sad and worn faces to make an impact with the viewer. It’s hard to believe that these creations came from an ink jet printer. Brian has a website at http://www.briandelevie.com/ where you can view his artwork. The images will invoke powerful messages into your minds eye. With his giclee art, his themes vary from family, to memories, and history.

Most households these days have computer and printers. Wouldn’t it be fun to have a family project where you put random photos together and make a story out of it? It would be the next scrapbooking hobby. Giclee offers a world of excitement and creativity. You can do what Brian did and take old family photos and convert them into themes. You can also bring together magazine articles with your photos to create a collage. It is also another way to recycle old family photos of people you don’t remember anymore or pictures that are worn beyond digital repair. With giclee art, the possibilities are endless with what you can do with art.

Giclee Fine Art Photography Printing on Canvas

Giclee Fine Art Photography Printing on Canvas

Following in the footsteps of the Iris inkjet printer of the early 1990’s, the Giclee printing process was developed to bring high quality color photo printing to canvas media, achieving a highly desirable fine art effect. Prior to the development of the Giclee canvas printing process, silkscreening was the standard technique for printing photographic materials. Utilization of digital printing could only be achieved after certain limitations had been overcome, most notably color saturation and the life of the final product.

Ultimately the solution came through the development of archival quality solvent inks that allowed for more advanced color duplication and longevity. Thanks to the advancement of the quality of raw materials, including inks and canvases, Giclee canvas art became an ideal way to create replicas of older artwork and photographs for sale by art dealers and collectors.

Today, Giglee prints offer an affordable method for mass production of high quality art and photography on cotton canvas. Individual artists can produce runs of prints or even offer on demand printing of their work for sale. The photograph duplication industry turns to Giclee printing as the de facto method for placing photographic images on canvas. This is a great advancement from the old manual methods used prior to the digital age. Thanks to Giglee printing, high quality art can be enjoyed by a wider audience than ever before.
